Two Day Clinic (9a.m.-5p.m.)

$300/Participant (Includes manual and dinner Saturday evening)

  • Day 1
    • Round Penning/Body language/Catching your Horse
    • Line Work Exercises
    • Tack Evaluation
  • Day 2
    • Proper saddling and bridling
    • Proper mounting and dismounting
    • "Control is an Illusion" Exercises
    • Safety under saddle
    • Obstacles


This is a BEGINNER and CONFIDENCE BUILDING clinic.  All exercises are tailored to meet the needs of each individual participant.  Because of that, this outline is tentative. 


*Participant must provide his/her own horse.


*Class size is limited to 6 participants.


*Pre-Registration required.


*It is recommended that if participant is new to horse ownership or has been away from horses for awhile, that he/she attend the Basic Course first.






Warning - Under Tennessee Law, an equine professional is not liable for an injury to or death of a participant in equine activities resulting from the inherent risks of equine activities, pursuant to Tennessee Code Annotated, title 44, chapter 20.


Private Lessons

  • $35/hour at your home (plus mileage if applicable)
  • $25/hour at my home with your horse (your horse must have current Neg. Coggins and be up-to-date on vaccines)
  • $35/hour at my home with my horse

*Riders under the age of 18 must wear a helmet at all times


Lessons include body language, confidence building, ground work, round penning, obstacles, behavioral issues, and more! All lessons are customized to the student and horse.  Call or email for availability.

    • Teeth Health

  • Properly applying and fitting your horse's halter
  • How to tie your horse safely

  • Applying the Bridle
  • Bit Basics
  • Applying the saddle
  • Saddle fit for you and your horse
